Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy

2021/22 results of the AMATSUNAWA specification Tossa jute yarn

Our Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy results explained in detail

Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy results of Amatsunawa specification corchorus olitorius Tossa yarn batched without mineral oil (JBO), coated using Tapioca starch, used in our 27/30/33 product ropes.

Because of the variety’s hardiness to insect damage and root rot disease, anti-mosquito insecticides and fungicides have not been required, and bio-insecticides reduced to 0.001%. Our cholesterol free vitamin A, D, and omega 3, 6 component fortified 100% GMO-free soybean batching oil is completely odourless, clear; very pale yellow. Since 1996, no rancidification has been observed by the lab, or reported by customers.

14lb Jute Count, single-ply yarn is coated with a tapioca starch-water spray and wound at the optimum twist for longitudinal cohesion.

Screening of the hexane extract in AMATSUNAWA Tossa confirms no traces (0.00%) of hydrocarbons consistent with mineral JBO.

Analysis shows 0.012% rheum palmatum [Chinese rhubarb] bio-propagator to help saplings against disease and promote early growth, plus 0.001% bio-insecticide. None represent negative effects, and the product is therefore considered 100% biodegradeable; environmentally friendly, sustainable, and Food Grade.
